...Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! The PTO at our school created five gift bags with different themes to give away to a teacher each day. I WON! I received the Dinner and a Movie gift bag that had like $135 in gift cards to restaurants and the movie theater, movie tickets, candy and popcorn! What a nice treat it was.

It's been getting hotter in NOVA and to be honest, I just hate running in anything over 70 degrees. So I've been getting up early for work and running in the morning. It isn't the best feeling rolling out of bed an hour early, but it definitely is worth it in the end. I live near a busy road, run on the sidewalks, but I am lucky enough to still see vegetation! It was really nice to sit on the sidewalk outside my townhouse and here the birds chirping, even though I could still here traffic in the background!
It is Mother's Day tomorrow...and I am one lucky mama! I cannot wait to see the project she made for me tomorrow when I finally get to open it! I love this little girl...
...and we took a lot of tests this week, not much fun going on in the classroom...but I will finish my post with this...
